This weekend, the Rwanda will host its first wedding show at the Kigali Convention Center and its going to feature some bold names like Anita Beryl.
The East African Wedding Show, as it has been dubbed, is going to be a two-day event held on 9th and 10th February 2019 in the heart of Kigali, Rwanda.
One of the organizers, Amanda Louise Kamanzi, said the show was on of the fruits of the social media page East African Brides, which showcases brides from East Africa.
The East African Wedding Show is going to bring together all players in the field including wedding designers, bridal shops, stylists, make up artists, entertainers, bakers, transporters, photographers, hotels and others.
Some of the big names expected invited include Anita Beryl, a Ugandan haute couture and wedding designer, Nigeria’s celebrated wedding designer Mai Atafo, Kenya’s award-winning designer Ogake Mosomi and make-up artist Muthon Njoba from Kenya.
Several small scale vendors from East Africa and else where are also expected to showcase.
Anita Beryl was particularly excited after getting her invitation and she said she couldn’t wait to be there.
This is one of those invitations I am very happy to honour, mostly because for a long time, 20 per cent of my brides have come all the way from Rwanda to get their wedding dresses from Beryl Qouture. So it is such an honour and a pleasure for me to be able to bring my services closer to them, I truly look forward to being a part of the show.
