Karl Lagerfeld, an icon fashion designer and creative director of Chanel and Fendi has died in Paris following a short illness.
Karl was born in Germany in the 1938 and migrated to France has a young teenager. He has lived and worked in France for all his wife and climbed the heights of the fashion industry, to which he dedicated his life till his death.
Kark Lagerfeld has been popularly known in the fashion industry and outside it for his signature white ponytail and dark shades which mad him an instantly recognizable figure.
Karl is praised for transforming the fortunes of Chanel, one one of the leading names in high fashion, but also having his work reach down to high street
fashionistas.
