Notorious B.I.G., original name Christopher Wallace continues to be an inspiration. 22 years after his death, Brooklyn is naming a street after him.
The Brooklyn Community Board the renaming of the road on which Notorious B.I.G. lived in vote of 33-1 in November.
The official naming of the street was on 21 May 2019 which would be Biggie Smalls’ 47th birthday.
The change will take place on June 10 with a planned public ceremony to commemorate the event.
Honouring Biggie symbolises more than just one man. It symbolises a culture. It symbolises a borough. It symbolises a people, and hip-hop is worldwide

Notorious B.I.G. also know as Biggie Smalls or just Biggie was assassinated on March 9, 1997 in Los Angels, California, USA.
He was born Christopher George Latore Wallace on May 21, 1972 at ST. Mary’s Hospital, New York, USA. He was one of the greatest rappers and is considered by many as one of the greatest of all time.
Biggie has had other places named after him including a basketball court in in Brooklyn.
