The Miss Uganda 2023 pageant has gained momentum after more regional races got positive turnouts from the people.
Miss Uganda 2023 comes after a break in the annual pageant due to COVID-19. The current Miss Muganda is a caretaker queen, Sylvia Bagaya who was crowned in 2021. She was given the caretaker role of the office.
Now that the pandemic is behind us, the hunt for the queen is on. As usual, the title race begins in regions. West Nile, North, East, West, and Central each have title races and the winners of those regions compete in the finals.
Miss Uganda North and West Nile Queens Announced
The races for the north are completed and the queens are announced.
Miss Uganda North 2023 is Desire Diana Amviko
Miss Uganda West Nile 2023 is Jackie Celine Luiji
The remaining regions to hold regional auditions include East, West, and Central.
