Madrat & Chiko are a Ugandan stand up comedy duo. The duo is made of comedians Patrick Lubega aka Madrat and Frank Mubiru aka Chiko.
The two perform in Luganda most of their time with some English lines from time to time. Their lines are derived from everyday lives and are said to come up with jokes on stage most of the time.
Originally hailing from Mukuono town, Madrat & Chiko came to the limelight in Uganda in the 2015. They previously held shows in Mukono at Satellite Beach, Total Pub and Pride Pub Bweyogerere.
Their inaugural gig in Kampala was at Waikiki in 2015 and it was a success. The show was put as testing ground before they would be allowed to perform at Theater Labonita.
After performing Theater Labonita for a few month Madrat & Chiko moved to Laftaz and held weekly shows there. Durng Laftaz the duo started receiving airplay on national TV and this was their take off.
