Uganda’s promising Dancehall artist Vanessa Marion Khabuya, better known by her stage name KVan has been signed by Black Market Records of Daddy Andrey.
KVan has been under Invaders Music, the same label than runs rapper Recho Rey, but has left for a better future. Black Market records is based in the US but is also firmly beginning to establish itself in Uganda.
The young Dancehall singer, dancer and songwriter could be the perfect magic needed to boost Black Market’s army of artists. Her multiple talents, such as songwriting and the unique Dancehall style might prove unstoppable if backed up by producer/singer Daddy Andrey’s experience.
Since her first single Show Dem in 2016, Kvan has several other Dancehall tracks including Back Off, Mr Loverman, Tabaaza and Sugar Daddy which are all performing well.
