With the much awaited wedding between Diamond Platnumz and Tanasha Donna getting postponed from February 14th to a future date, one may wonder whether its ever gonna happen at all.
Diamond Platnumz, in terms of romance, is truly showing the spirit of The East African Community! Having dated in Tanzania, Uganda and Now Kenya, the Niache singer is the true meaning of East Africa.
The big question, however, is whether he is ever gonna marry anyone! Diamond has dated four gorgeous ladies so far all of whom she has taken home to his mama but none of them has walked down the aisle. Does he date the wrong ones or he is the wrong one for them all?
Diamond’s romance history
1- Wema Sepetu
In the early days of Diamond’s stardom, Wema Sepetu was the lady. Young, famous, beautiful. The two were regarded as the hottest couple in Tanzania. Its also the longest relationship Diamond Platnumz has hard . Wema met Diamond’s mom. They hard ups and downs, including Diamond cheating on her with Jokate Mwengelo, Wema’s best friend and others. In 2014, they called it quits.
2- Zari Hassan
Zari and Diamond started dating in 2014. Both were coming out of long relationships and everyone was happy for them. They dated for four years and had two babies along the way. Like Wema, Zari Hassan also met Diamond’s mom and just like Wema, Zari was also cheated on, this time with Hamisa Mobetto, a video model and beauty queen. After several public promises of a wedding, the two broke up in February 2018 without anything similar to a wedding. Zari Hassan said she was tired of Diamond’s infidelity.

3- Hamisa Mobetto
When she was secretly seeing Daimond behind Zari’s back, Hamisa Mobetto must have thought that the only thing standing between her and Diamond Platnumz was Zari Hassan. Also because she was one of the reasons for their break up, she must have thought that a mega wedding was just around the corner. Unfortunately, the wedding never came. The romance was also short lived. When rumors started spreading that Hamisa Mobetto was using juju (witchcraft) to get Diamond to marry her, things got worse.
4- Tanasha Donna
With three hot ex girlfriends who made to Diamond’s parents, one should be wondering what new technique Tanasha Donna is going to use to get the ring. But who knows, may be the Kenyan-born and European-raised Kenyan-Italian bombshell has what it takes! Tanasha and Diamond’s wedding was initially scheduled Valentine’s Day (February 14) 2019 but it has since been postponed to a date we are yet to know.
Diamond Platnumz had requested the Tanzanian government to make it a public holiday so that people can come to his wedding or watch it live on TV. He also promised that his wedding would be attended by international stars like Rick Ross, Omarion and others.
We don’t know whether its the usual promise, schedule and postpone weddings technique or there is a genuine reason for the postponement but one thing we know, this wont be the first time Diamond Platnumz promises a wedding and it never happens.
